We are pragmatic, fast and we bring deep operational expertise to the table. We are data driven, idea meritocratic and we value direct feedback.
Global Founders Capital invests stage agnostic. We do Seed, Series A or participate in later rounds. We are looking primarily for the team that we want to work with. The better we understand the business the earlier we are willing to invest. Typically we do not invest pre-launch.

Oliver is one of the most successful German Internet entrepreneurs, having built and exited numerous businesses such as Alando (sold to Ebay), Jamster (sold to New Corp), Citydeal (sold to Groupon), supported European fashion giant Zalando, and initiated company builder Rocket Internet amongst others. He was honored with the Young Global Leader designation at the World Economic Forum in Davos and Forbes has recognized him and his brothers among the top 12 global entrepreneurs to watch. Oliver holds a business degree from WHU, Germany.
Marc founded with his two brothers Alando.de which became the market leader of internet auctions in Germany. After the successful sale of Alando.de to eBay Inc., Marc was Managing Director of eBay, responsible for Germany, Switzerland and Austria, turning eBay Germany into the most profitable international site of eBay worldwide. In 2000, Marc and his brothers founded Jamba! AG which became market leader for wireless content in Europe and the US. In 2003, Marc received the distinguished Eisenhower Fellowship Award. He holds a Master's Degree in Law from the University of Cologne.
Daniel has been working with tech startups for over a decade as an entrepreneur, operator, financier and investor. He was an early internet pioneer in the UK, building the first online food ordering platform, and has also been involved in a number of tech companies from formation through to exit. Most recently he was part of the venture capital team at Fidelity where he was involved in a number of investments in e-commerce, marketplaces and SaaS including NotOnTheHighStreet, Wahanda and GoodData. Daniel holds a ‘first class' Bachelor of Science degree from Warwick and Wharton business schools.
Levin Bunz joined Global Founders Capital in 2013 with responsibilities stretching from deal sourcing and structuring to due diligence. Levin was an early hire at Tradeshift where he built up their online marketing organization, data tracking and business intelligence and holds a Master's Degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from WHU, Germany.
Hugues De Braucourt
Hugues brings over 8 years of experience in entrepreneurship, strategic consulting, operational restructuring & performance improvement. He has worked across a wide range of industries including consumer goods & retail, agri-food, business services, and tech / web related in Europe / Latin America / Asia, for various private investors and large corporates. He holds a MBA in Finance & Entrepreneurship from Essec, France.
Boris spent the last 15+ years building businesses in consumer internet start-ups across Europe and North America, including Jamba/Jamster and Groupon/CityDeal where he founded the Southern European countries Italy, Spain and Portugal. Under his management countries developed fast growth and exceptional profitability at a large scale. His passion lies in building better businesses faster. Boris holds a Master degree in Business Administration and Communication Science from the Free University in Berlin.
Sebastian has been a founder and entrepreneur for more than six years, having gained significant experience as operator in international markets such as APAC (China, Korea, Japan and SEA), EMEA (Germany and CEE), the US and LATAM. He has built up one of the leading e-commerce platforms in CEE and co-founded and served as COO/CFO in a global professional services company in the B2B space. Prior that, Sebastian worked for 5 years in M&A in London. Sebastian holds a graduate degree from WHU, Germany.
Fabricio was among the first online entrepreneurs in Latam, and since 2010 has helped build and scale several of the regions most successful startups, among them Dafiti, Tricae, Kanui, Linio, Easy Taxi and Clickbus. Fabricio is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil and focuses on investments in Latin America. He holds a computer science degree from Brandeis University and and an MBA from INSEAD.
Leon has been involved in multiple startups ranging from fashion eCommerce player Lamoda in Russia to Foodpanda in South-East Asia. Most recently he has been part of Zalora where he scaled up operations across South-East Asia. He is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and invests across South-East Asia. Leon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from WHU, Germany.
Julien is an Associate at GFC, covering Europe and the USA where he has led or been directly involved in over 25 investments across all stages. Julien graduated with honours from Warwick Business School and holds a postgraduate degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Cambridge.
Previously co-founded Staytuned in Palo Alto and started his career at the German Accelerator, where he was responsible for business development and operations. Bernhard supported +30 companies and was a key member leading to the expansion to three locations within the U.S. He holds a degree in Business Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in corporation with Fraunhofer ISI.
