We are pragmatic, fast and we bring deep operational expertise to the table. We are data driven, idea meritocratic and we value direct feedback.
Global Founders Capital invests stage agnostic. We do Seed, Series A or participate in later rounds. We are looking primarily for the team that we want to work with. The better we understand the business the earlier we are willing to invest. Typically we do not invest pre-launch.

Oliver Samwer

Oliver is one of the most successful German Internet entrepreneurs, having built and exited numerous businesses such as Alando (sold to Ebay), Jamster (sold to New Corp), Citydeal (sold to Groupon), supported European fashion giant Zalando, and initiated company builder Rocket Internet amongst others. He was honored with the Young Global Leader designation at the World Economic Forum in Davos and Forbes has recently recognized him and his brothers among the top 12 global entrepreneurs to watch. Oliver holds a business degree from WHU, Germany.
Marc Samwer

Marc founded with his two brothers Alando.de which became the market leader of internet auctions in Germany. After the successful sale of Alando.de to eBay Inc., Marc was Managing Director of eBay, responsible for Germany, Switzerland and Austria, turning eBay Germany into the most profitable international site of eBay worldwide. In 2000, Marc and his brothers founded Jamba! AG which became market leader for wireless content in Europe and the US. In 2003, Marc received the distinguished Eisenhower Fellowship Award. He holds a Master's Degree in Law from the University of Cologne.
Fabian Siegel
PARTNER
Fabian Siegel co-founded European payment service ClickandBuy (sold to Deutsche Telekom) where he served as CTO for 7 years, founded personal finance startup Strateer, ran operations at browser technology company kikin.com and was Co-CEO at Delivery Hero, a global leader in online food ordering, from 2010 to 2013. Fabian holds a masters in economics from University of Bonn, Germany.
